Left Chest Logo: Getting Size & Placement Right

The left chest is the most common placement for a logo patch, and small sizing mistakes are the easiest way to make an otherwise great design look off.

As a general rule, keep left-chest patches between 3 and 4 inches wide — large enough to read clearly, small enough to sit naturally within the chest panel of a jacket, polo, or work shirt.

Centering matters as much as size: measure roughly 3 inches down from the shoulder seam and 4 inches in from the center placket, then adjust slightly based on the garment's own proportions.

When in doubt, send us a photo of the garment — our design team will mark up a placement guide as part of your free digital proof.
